    I don't try and fix something that ain't broke.:) Your computer will let you know if there is a problem. Windows have some great repair tools like sfc / scannow that you mentioned, Cindy. A lot of third party programs are not necessary as Windows have great tools in built.

    You sure do get a beer, my friend. I only have Heineken Beer. :) Those are very good CPU core temps for a laptop.:clap:

    This is the latest Desktop rig I am on now. I built it a few weeks ago. I am happy with the temps. They seem quite stable. The temps are always higher in a laptop.

    Speedfan can be a bit hard for a newby to understand where as HWMonitor is much simpler. I am using HWMonitor at the moment. Remember these monitoring programs are only as good as the signals your Motherboard gives out. I always run more than one monitoring program so I can cross reference, and then compare the readings with my BIOS.

    Since the changes made recently, no images are showing prior to Cindy's SuperBowl joke Just a box with a number inside. Is it only myself having this issue?

    I have used Erunt to backup my registry for some years and works great. Very simple to use. I think defragging your registry is crazy. No one knows your registry as well as Microsoft.

    I have tried them all just about and each one has their drawbacks in some way. I have settled for IE and FireFox. They both suit my wants from a browser. Firefox being my default browser.

    That's a good idea also. I have an 8" short extension for the usb on the front of the tower. Works great and cost me $1.00.

    I make a habit of buying one Ram stick the size Gigs and speed I require and what the Mobo accepts and never had these mismatch issues. I have had less memory issues since changing to one stick and DDR3 ram is pretty cheap. I stick to Kingston or Corsair.

    Keep inside and stay safe and hope there isn't a power outage to make things worse. On the Radar it looks a really bad one.

    From what I hear, Cindy's eight core AMD rig is running fine. Why would she build another rig just to satisfy your curiosity?

    I urge everyone not to use the "Express Settings" and use "Customize" The last 3 are a joke IMO Microsoft want to use your name,account picture,advertising ID, your location and sell that info to the highest bidder. Microsoft wants you to agree to send your browsing history to microsoft..Again to sell for advertising purposes. One needs to read carefully. They really have you by the Jatz Crackers. What I see so far I like although not finished configuring yet.

    I always run the power cable under the GPU and I have an 8 inch extension if I need it. Looks so much better. I replaced a faulty PSU yesterday and the 4pin molex came in a long black strip with multiple connections which I hadn't seen before.Came with 2 strips of 4 so plenty So much neater than having extensions everywhere.
