This is a decent inexpensive printer I have resold a few of at $99 to clients as it is wireless and Usb and the quality is surprising at this price for Copy, Print and Scan and no one else is breaking price on it as I have known this was coming and picked up 6 today myself so they won't last. Prior to this I could not crack $69.99 to buy it. Affordable printing for computers, smartphones and tablets Convenient wireless networking lets you print cable-free. Features Wireless-N (802.11b/g/n) connectivity. Mobile support lets you print from smartphones and tablets. HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint™ and other supported technologies let you print wirelessly from most smartphones and tablets. Automatic 2-sided printing and copying helps save paper and money. Offers reliable printing at up to 6 pages per minute in black or color (ISO standard). Also lets you print lab-quality photos with ease. Color scanner for quality images from paper. Great for scanning photos and documents. Features an optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi. 100-sheet paper tray handles large jobs. Greener choice — meets EPA's Energy Star® standards. http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/143228/HP-Envy-4500-e-All-In/?cm_sp=technology-_-143228-save50dollar-_-Home-TriplePromoZone1-Ad8-Home -

One thing I have always wondered about is the Fm2+ apu in a laptop, really can give great performance at a much better price than an Intel laptop, yet it has never really been pushed and I think that apu solves a lot of laptop issues since the biggest issue they face is dealing with crappy onboard video cards.

I will try that, very interesting.

Good point Dougie.

Yeah funny isn't it! -
Let me know if you have any issues Mike.

This is so frustrating as there is no one browser that will do everything consistently.

Dell Inspiron One 2320 wireless driver problem?
Rich-M replied to mikehende's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
Thanks again I wound up needing this when the hard drive crashed I was working on and had to do a new install! -
There was a brief time where I felt the site protection had gone away with Eset so I tried others but when that came back so did I. Consistently over the years I have seen Trend Micro as a huge system resource grabber and seldom if ever have I seen it catch anything. I have walked in on highly infected systems to see Trend Micro scanning away finding nothing and never seen that with Nod32. Nod 32 is always the slimest profile and I am never reminded in anyway it is even there until it blocks a site. Uninstall Trend Micro on your slowest machine and run for a while. You will never put it back if you do!

I did wait quite a while a few times but on Chrome or FF I can see something trying to get in whereas on IE nothing happens at all. It is instantaneous on FF or Chrome incidentally.
-
I think it depends on the user N3. Someone who has constant issues with infections who cannot control where they go and what they allow into their systems can gain a lot from this but it is highly restrictive and really takes the fun out of owning a pc IMHO. Computer runs like a snail and you are quite limited to where you can go and I personally would rather sell my pc than go to something like that.
-
I cannot fully explain it but I really do not care what the bench tests show, I feel really good with AMD systems though Catch knows I prefer the FM2+ cpus to AM3 and I just seem to have problem after problem lately with Intel systems which is why I went back to AMD and with current system using a pc has become boring again. All my issues come with the Dell Intel All-in-One now.

Mike do not just disable MacAfee, to do that you must uninstall it because it will still be there and slow the computer to a crawl, whether or not it is running in startup. BTW that is no trade, MacAfee is useless but Trend Micro is more than useless and will really drag down the system. Tell them to go with Nod32 pl,ease, it's cheaper, will actually help keep pc clean and with no system drag. One thing that puzzles me too is that you can do msconfig in the run box and it takes you to startup which is now in task manager. For some reason if you go to task manager without starting in "Run" it isn't there but you can still access it starting the old way. Cindy's shortcut though is neat and I didn't know that one.

Well many of you have convinced me to switch to IE to avoid the flash and pdf issues I have been experiencing with Chrome, FF, and Pale Moon from time to time only I have an issue that just blows my mind. I cannot complete a purchase on IE. I get all the way to the end, click "submit" and it just sits there. I don't care if its Newegg, Amazon or now it just happened at Staples. I copy and paste the location of the item and then use either Chrome or Pale Moon and it goes right through and it is getting really irritating and it happens on 2 pcs both Windows 7 custom built desktop and Windows 8.1 All-in-One Dell as well. Damn shame someone cannot make a browser that works right, I am going back to Chrome.

Dell Inspiron One 2320 wireless driver problem?
Rich-M replied to mikehende's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
Mike that first link shows 3 wireless drivers and you are saying n one of those worked? I have a 2320 in the shop and I show 3 Atheros drivers with different numbers were used:R305637,R305803 and R306719. My 2330 uses a Ralink adapter which is actually and Intel wireless device so you might want to try the Intel site as well in case yours is not Atheros adapter. -
Ah OK Dougie.
