I read the RFC 6184 (RTP Payload Format for H.264 Video) and developed a program to streaming H264 file (.h264) via RTP. I can use VLC on the client side to receive and playing the stream, but Windows media player can not do the same thing. I want to know whether windows media player can support RFC 6184 or not. I did a disk cleanup. And there is always 151MB in the Computer Update Cleanup folder. The configuring time when turning on the laptop takes longer each time. I ran a sfc/ scannow on command prompt as administration. They gave me a message that said &quotWindows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. The Vista Laptop I have will not quit asking to install the MRT update. It appears to install fine (marked as successful). When I reboot (it doesn't ask me to but shows that it needs to in the shutdown button) it applies an update, then when logged in it says it needs to install the same update. It appears that it might be having trouble writing it to the WindowsSystem32 directory. The MRT.EXE that is in there is from 2009 - so multiple updates have never been installed correctly.Mike. I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials, and understand that I don't need Defender any longer. It won't turn on anyhow, so may as well be removed altogether. For the past week Windows Update keeps repeatedly requesting to install KB2813170 after supposedly installing it. It will prompt me to install...I will install it...then it claims to have installed (in the log), and then asks me to install it...I will install it...then it claims to have installed...and on, and on, and on. Also, for some reason when I go into "Installed Updates", none are listed. But I know a couple weeks ago everything was listed, as I've been in the process of slowly re-installing everything on my laptop over the past month. Which is just Windows Vista and Office 2010. I’ve no problmes with any updates until KB2813170. I've tried running the Microsoft Fix-it app for Windows Update. That also keeps looping. It tells me there is a problem...I tell it to fix the problem...It tells me it’s fixed. But if I run it again, it just repeats. I've also tried restoring my system to a previous restore point, and that makes no difference. I've also tried manually downloading KB2813170 and installing it but that makes no difference either. That also keeps looping. Help!!!! View this thread

i keep trying to update windows 7 and it says there are 65 important updates. well when i try to install them i get these error codes "WindowsUpdate_80246008" "WindowsUpdate_dt000". windows says this is an unknown error. i tried running the fix it trouble shooter, and it gave me a detailed report. it said windows update compnents must be repaired, and problem with BITS. those problems werent fixed. any suggestions? Is this a sad joke?? I ATTEMPTED to download and install this and after 2 weeks of the whole program not looading, and the product code not working, and nothing but frustration I am now concidering the open office program... Its FREE, and easy to load ... I will miss the office 2010's reliability but if I have to pay $200 for a program and then hope it will work I will keep the money and then load the free open office and hope it works, if it dosent, I still have my money... I've been having this problem for over a week now, so I know it's not an intermittent connection issue. I get error messages saying that Windows Update and Microsoft Security Essentials automatic updates failed. I go in and attempt to do the updates manually and they again fail. I've attempted all of Microsoft's automatic fixes for this issue and none of them have worked. The failure is in the connection process, however, I have a solid internet connection and can do pretty much anything else online. I was having the same problem with Norton live update before this, where I couldn't retrieve updates, which is why I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials. I'm thinking it might be some sort of virus that is blocking any updates, but I've run complete scans and my system shows up clean. The virus definitions are only about a week old. Hi all...I am using a Sony Vaio laptop and is wirelessly connected to a Cannon MG5320 printer. I am using Windows 7 home edition. My computer doesnt communicate with my printer anymore and comes up with the error 1053 that says &quotThe printer spooler service isnt running. I tried reinstalling the printer software, but it stops halfway and gives the same error message. I tried to go into start menu -&gt Services -&gt Print Spooler -&gt and clicked Start.
