I discovered this while using an Excel 2007 or 2010 .xlsm file. (I also saved the file as a 2013 .xlsx same result.) This does not happen in a new 2013 workbook. Excel 2013 is rounding (as it should) when decreasing the amount of displayed digits in a cell. However, it is also truncating the data, which is NOT correct. There are internal functions to invoke if the user wants to use rounded data in future operations. Ex. Type: 1.9 in Cell A1 Decrease precision to display no decimals. Result: A1 = 2 Increase precision to display 1 decimal place. Result: A1 = 2.0 Increase precision to display 2 decimal places. Result: A1 = 2.00 View this thread

I have a question about settings in schedule scans. I change the settings to daily full scans from the default setting. Everyday now I wake up and find my Icon Yellow stating PC Potentially unprotected. Everyday now. I run the scan and is fixed. But this is happening everyday, has anybody experience this? Last night when I was shutting down, I got the message &quotinstall update and shut down&quot. I chose that and this morning when I started Windows, I found that all of the data associated with my programs were missing and the start screen was as if I had just installed Windows 8. The programs were there but no data. I chatted with a Microsoft support person who told me that Microsoft does not support OEM installed software. She suggested a system restore, which worked. But, what went wrong and can I trust auto update any longer? View this thread

downloaded inbox.com thinking it was something else. It then started to come up as my first browser which I did not want. Went to control panel and uninstall section but IT IS NOT THERE. I have recently had to reinstall my operating system (Windows XP) on my HP Pavilion laptop. I have been able to re-install up to and including the Service Pack 3. I have some DRW files that I need to work with and my version of Office doesn't have Publisher, which I used to create these files. I purchased a 2003 edition of Office Pro which I had researched to see if it would operate with Windows 7 and was given the go-ahead. . Sorry for the question. i think there are a lot of questions regarding encrypted files in the community. but my reason of asking this question again is that i have DELETED my admn user account. i encrypted the files with this account. didn't add a recovery agent. and then created another admn account and deleted the original admn account with which i encrypted the files.(yeah, i know im stupid). so, is there any chance i can get those files back???? I'm trying to use our file server to install Office 365 Pro Plus and have created a local source of the installation files using the /download switch and I'm now trying to deploy using the /configure switch. My configuration.xml file looks like this: --> But when I run the deployment from an elevated command prompt it tries to download a file called i641033.cab that isn't in the download folder, unless it is in the stream.x86.x-none.dat file? The error in the command prompt is: ERROR: DownloadAndExtractCab: Failed \serverinstallOffice2013OfficeData 15.0.4481.1510i641033.cab -> C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office 15DataClientUp dateDiri641033.cab And in the setup log in %temp% I can see it trying to grab that file over and over again until it fails. Recently, Windows 7 have downloaded some updates and after restarting my PC, it was showing that "updates are installing don't turn off your PC". Unfortunately, there was a power failure and my pc restarted. The problem has started from that time, when I'm trying to start Windows 7, it gives me 2 options Boot repair (recomended) Start Windows normally So ran the boot repair option and after successful boot repair. My PC restarted again. Then I select "Start Windows normally". After selecting that, there is a message pops up Fatal error C0000034 applying update operation 170 of 71128 (_00000..), just below the glowing windows icon on the boot screen. And nothing happens from that time. I've waited even for 30 mins and nothing happens at all.I don't know how to solve this problem. Please help. View this thread

I got this malware 'mixi dj search' accidentally while getting live streaming for the Formula 1 GP. I can't get rid of it! It's slowing my computer and from what i've read on the internet it's a nightmare. I ran my Norton 360 full system scan and it's still there. I ran the microsoft 64 bit safety scan that scanned over 2 million files taking 7hrs and 45 mins and the mixi dj scan is still there! I'm running windows 7 and don't know too much about stuff like this. I also deleted some programs that came with this malware. I want to get rid of it completely. Help ! Thanx Tedi View this thread

I am upgrading my CPU and motherboard soon. My question is, if I upgrade my CPU and motherboard now, can I buy Windows 7 (or 8) OEM now and upgrade my graphics card and get new RAM later, or do I have to buy and install everything at once? View the thread

I have tried everything to get updates and it just does not happen. I need to watch a live cast on Friday and MSU needs me to have cookies in order for me to sign up.
