Here we are now into Auturm (Fall) from the 1st of March and we are still getting continual 35c days.
Do wish the days cool off soon.
Our highest temp this Summer just gone was 42.2c on Feb 25.
The only sure way I think to beat these crims is to have regular backups/clones of your OS on another drive and NOT hooked up.
What do you think? Pete.
Pets are an important part of many people's lives and as I love all pets regardless, I thought it would be nice to post as many photos of your pets as you wish. We are proud of our animal companions.
This is my pet cat called LUCE. 3 yrs old and never leaves my side except when necessary.
Don't know what breed but the longest cat I have ever seen. A great companion.
This cat whom I adore is the fastest cat I have ever seen run and clears 7 feet fences without even touching the fence. Amazing athletic cat to watch. I will post more photos of Luce in due course. Here is a Photo I took today to give some idea how long this cat is.
Thanks Ice Man. Will watch now.
Verdict.
I am stoked how well this card performed under such demanding taxing Games.
I thought the card handled "Witcher3" pretty good.
"Dying Light" also. I thought the guy played with settings too much.
Good One.
Thanks for the feed back, Ice Man.Much appreciated.
That's good to know.
Haven't fitted the card yet, but hope to tomorrow.
My PSU is plenty strong enough.
I slipped down to the Computer shop I frequent looking for a XFX R9 380X card Ice Man recommended for my latest build. They didn't have one so I will order this card.
I needed a good card for another computer I have and saw an ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 960 OC edition 2 gig on their shelf. I remebered this is a card I recommended to another member here some months ago.
This card can service 4 monitors all with different URL's on at the same time. Anyway I bought it for $309 (not cheap) I had a look at the bench marks and not a bad card for Mid to High Gaming as well I should think.

My question to the experts. Is this card likely to fill up the Frame buffer too quickly and what resolution should I set it at to get reasonably good FPS.What's your opinion on this card?
Thanks
Very true. It's the humidity factor which makes high temps unbearable. We do have high temps in summer
but now and again we get extreme temps. Another state has had the highest temps for 4 days since 1940.
Last time the temp was so high was on the 21st February 2004 when the temp reached 45c or 113 F.
Birds were dropping dead out of the trees.
Our normal summer temps are the mid to high 30's. February is normally our hottest month.
Today is lovely, only 27c. Such a relief from the heat.
My case has a window in the side cover and now I have fitted a water cooler looks much better through the window and plenty of space to remove the M.2 which I will do from time to time. Before so little space to get your hand down to remove or fit the M.2 and the humungus air cooler was sharp on the corners.
I fitted a CoolerMaster Nepton 240M which is working great .
CPU is around 24c so doing the job well.
Here are before and after shots. Happy I made the change.

I think it just about impossible not to get a P.U.P. now and again. I use a layered approach.
I make a fresh restore point before downloading anything to my computer.
I have Unchecky installed as it does help to a degree.
Choose Custom install where possible.
Wise Program unistaller will list any P.U.P. that has crept through the net.
Then I run MBAM Free to scan as well for P.U,P's .
Works for me.
No, I intend to use it for my main computer when all programs ( incl photoshop) are loaded and tweaked the way I like it.
First though, I will change to water cooled as I hate working around a large air cooler on a main machine.:)
I have been looking at the Samsung 950 pro. Incredible read and write speeds. 2500mb/s and 1500mb/s
Comments all positive. Very expensive here.$484
I want one :winner:

I have both Intel including i7 6700K Skylake and AMD.
I would go with AMD as Cindy suggests if it were me.Easier to overclock than Intel.
That cooler is humungus and there are coolers smaller which do the same job.
Good luck with your build.:)
