    A picture appeared on 30th March looks like interior volcano but had the wrong title. The titles for all the picture were out of sequence that day, and the next day this picture had gone. Any clues as to its title would be much appreciated. I did manage to do a desktop copy of it but I would like to know where the picture was taken. View the thread

    I have tried to use the speech recognition in the english version, it worked very well. I was fascinated by the accuracy. In the near future there will be no need for the electromechanical keyboard and the mouse. Speech recognition and onscreen devices will be enough to control the computer. When will Windows Speech recognition be able to recognize Swedish? View this thread

    I can't install Update for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2781197). I keep getting "Failed 1 Update code 80070026". Anyone having the same problem? I tried doing a clean boot (disabling all services at startup, using msconfig), but no luck so far. Thanks View this thread

    When I try to run Windows Update I get an error code 8024800A and I'm unable to get any updates. I tried to run system restore. I had two choices, one month ago and two months ago. I chose the one month ago. That didn't work so I went back to try to do the two months ago, only that choice was no longer available. Now what do I do to fix this problem? View this thread

    I can't manually downlowad Framework because i seem to have a problem with no updates. I get error message that windows update cannot currently check for updates becasue the service is not running. I have windows 7 home and I'm pulling my hair out. Help please View this thread

    Security update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB970892) continually fails to install, what can I do to overcome this ? The update has tried to install automatically dozens of times but it keeps failing, is there something I can adjust that will enable this to install. I have reasonable computer skills but I am by no means good at this, I will need step by step assistance, and full explanation of acronyms. View this thread

    Whenever I try to start the Windows 8 update service, it fails with error 1053: "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." The service cannot start at all. Please note that renaming the Window's SoftwareDistribution directory does not fix this problem. I also cannot view the update history, although I was able to install updates until about a month ago.     I have run XP Pro on a Dell 5150C for 3 years, but some files have become corrupted. I re-formatted the disc, and reloaded XP from a reinstall disc provided by Dell, and containing SP2. All went well. Then I installed an SP3 disc, bought from Microsoft. The machine has stopped, no keyboard or mouse, black screen, so useless. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it?     My windows essentials full system scan tells me I am infected with Trojan:win32/sisproc, even though it tries to remove it, it says erroe and then it is quarantined but when I rescan it seems to be active again, yesterday my security essentials was turned off (not by me) and I rescanned and there was the Trojan again. I down loaded Mailwarebytes but it doesn't even pick up the virus? Please help. View this thread
