  1. Hi, I have just installed Office 2013 migrating from Office 2010 and I'm facing issues with my IMAP servers. All folders were correctly transferred and are synchronized with my IMAP servers, unfortunately the inbox do not want to collaborate. They are labelled as (this computer only) and do not synchronized with the IMAP servers. As such, my inbox are effectively back to a POP style server and what I open on Outlook 2013, won't be synchronized on any other devices. Help? View this thread
  2. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I also run Windows XP mode occasionally on this system. I didn't think anything had changed in the XP mode setup, but now today when I try to access the C: drive on my Windows 7 system from XP (which is labelled in Windows Explorer as "C on SYSTEM-NAME") XP mode crashes, restarts, and gives me a chance to send the error log to Microsoft. I can access the XP C: drive fine.I went through netsetup in XP to give the XP system a different name than my Windows 7 system name (although it was already different). Nothing changed.I disabled my avast antivirus protection on the XP system, but that didn't change anything.Do I need to do something in the Windows 7 system to allow XP access to the Windows 7 drives? This system was brand new last summer, and I set up the XP mode at that time. I'm sure I was able to access the Windows 7 drives from within XP for months. I don't know what has changed to create this problem. Any ideas? Thanks! View the thread

  8. i worked for 3 days putting together a movie with pictures and sound. when i go to save it to the computer or save it to cd it gives a status bar that never changes from 0% and below it is a counter that tells remaining minutes. well that counter goes up instead of down. the movie that i put together was about 25 minutes and i left the pc on for 9 hours and the minute counter was up to 3,600,000 minutes to go . this is very confusing as i then gave up. i ended up using a program called dazzle to burn the video but that is very unstable program and keeps locking up when putting together a picture video. hope someone has an answer for me . i am running win XP View this thread
  9. Why are all the questions &amp answers so old as in 2009 to 2011 &amp a few in 2012 on the 1 thru 12 pages on MICROSOFT COMMUNITY WINDOWS under the question "HOW DO I GET AROUND WINDOWS 7's FILE PERMISSIONS? I'm sure people are still having this same problem in 2013 because I sure am and has become worse. Meaning we are all being denied access to files that we own and have a right to access. I do not think this can be any more clearly stated. Thank You if you can answer this question. This is dated APRIL 2, 2013 View the thread
  10. This is a malware add-on to IE9. It cannot be removed. It slows down various web site openings and might be doing more harm besides that. I clicked on IE9's &quottools&quot-&quotmanage add-ons&quot. It is listed there but the &quotenable-disable&quot buttons are greyed out. I have IE8. The legend under theadd-on is &quotwecarereminder class&quot. Please help. Macfee did not detect it and I believe it is slowing down my computer. I can not disable it manually. View this thread

  22. Background I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1. I have already applied all available windows updates. I recently purchased an Epson WF-3540 printer and installed it per the CD. I am logged on as the administrator and connected to the printer via USB. Problem I am unable to set the WF-3540 as my default printer. I also cannot print from Adobe products as the WF-3540 is not in the available printers list however, it does show up in Devices and Printers under the Start Menu. When I try to set it as the default printer, I get the error code 0x00000709. What I have already tried I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software both from the CD as well as the online download from the manufacturer. I have disabled the Windows firewall. I have spent an hour on the phone with Epson Support who stated that the printer is functioning correctly and the problem lies with Microsoft. I have used the Microsoft Fix It application from the help section. It says to set my printer as the default to correct the problem. If I could do that, I wouldn't have the problem in the first place. Fix It was also unable to set it as the default printer. I have attempted to edit the registry, but I get the error message: Cannot edit Device: Error Writing the value's new contents. My old printer is still listed in the registry. There are no printing jobs from my old printer that would be holding anything up. I have checked the Adobe software and there is no problem with it, nor are there any updates. I have rebooted after all attempted procedures. View the thread
