I have the Lenovo Ideapad S206 Windows 7 32 bit and have a driver problem which I believe is due to a Windows update at sometime. I get the following statement :- "The device is not working properly because Windows cannot load drivers for this device (Code 31)" Can someone very kindly please advise me how to sort this out. Guten Morgen zusammen,seit einiger Zeit ist das Netzwerksymbol in der Taskleiste rot ausgekreuzt, obwohl eine Verbinfung besteht und das Internetauch funktioniert. Der PC ist über einen Switch an eine Fritz-Box angeschlossen. In der Netzwerkübersicht wird der Switchnicht erkannt und als Fragezeichen dargestellt. Ein Laptop, dass an dem gleichen Switch angeschlossen ist, zeigt diese Fehler nicht. Es wird sowohl das Symbolals auch der Switch richtig angezeigt. Auf beiden Rechnern ist WIN-7 installiert.Es wäre schön, wenn jemand weiterhelfen könnte....................................DANKE View the thread

Just brought a new laptop running windows 8. Whenever I attempt to get into windows update in the control panel, the entire window freezes and is impossible to exit out of. If I try to use task manager and end the task, the entire computer goes to a blank screen and I have no choice but to log off or restart. I have tried to troubleshoot problems and it found error 0x80070490, which it repaired but I am still having this problem. Any help would be appreciated as I just brought this product and am very distressed about it not working. Thanks. View this thread

I recently purchased a jetpack from Verizon to which my Samsung Lumia and laptop share the data quota. Last night I downloaded quite a few Micro. updates after being off the computer for a few weeks and this morning got a nasty email that Id already gone over my data quota. Of course I didn't even take into consideration system updates into how much data Id need each month but now Im glad I didnt set my computer to automatically download. (Of course, Verizon Wireless didn't take system updates into account either)My question is how much data should I anticipate with monthly system updates, Win 7. I realize this is next to impossible to answer but a guess is better than nothing.Are there any tricks on minimizing the amount of data I use? (I was told by verizon that its better to sign into application, like Facebook, once and keep open rather than logging in and out) BTW, Verizon is the only carrier for cell phones in my area but I do have a choice with Internet.ThanksKricket View this thread

I have a volume license for office 2010 and 2013. When I log into my volume license dashboard, I see the KMS key, the MAK key, and an Office Web Apps Key. When you buy office 2010 and 2013, I thought you get access to Office Web Apps as well for what ever version you have. This would be awesome if I can activate office web apps so I can access the full features of office web apps. Please enlighten me on this. ThanksT -Help? View this thread

I can find this update installed in the history. It is not found in installed updates. One window says it was installed on April 10,2013. Control Panel&gt Installed Updates does not reciprocate or acknowledge its existence. Right-clicking in the history provides two options View details and Copy Details. Where is it and how can I uninstall it? Searching kb 2823324 over entire hard drive yields nothing. The computer has had a failure and could not recover. View this thread

I am getting an error I have never seen before. It's with Windows update. The error says that I can't search for updates because the service is not turned on. The service IS turned on. Also, my update history is blank. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I am running it on a TOSHIBA Satellite L455D-5597S. I don't know what else you need to know. Is a US company compliant, as far as Licensing, if they buy some machines with Windows 7 OEM installed and ship them to Latin-America to be used in the child offices? Or do the child offices in those countries have to buy them under their own name? Thanks View the thread

When I try to install MS updates I receive the following error message: "The Applicataion Failed to Start Because SetUpEngine.dll Was Not Found. Re-Installing the Application may fix the problem."I've installed the latest .NET Framework software and I've also run System File Checker, but the error keeps repeating. HP G60 530us notebook 64 bit intel pentium It says "waiting for download manage, This program is preventing windows from closing." (it's saying manage, not manager) I think this started after I did my first back up onto a memory stick or when I downloaded Java. I had never downloaded a Java previously. I went into my programs and started removing a lot of programs. I have always shut down my computer by clicking on shutdown. I've never left it in sleep mode. Never heard of that term before. Now my computer won't shut off unless I hit the actual button to turn it on. View the thread

Something seems odd when I get updates from Adobe usually for the flash player. When I click on the update box instead of downloading to my computer I get directed to Adobe.com. Then there the update gets downloaded and installed is that typical now? It is more like if I did not have the flash player installed on my computer and the update is more of a install. Has me just a little confused so hoping somebody can explain what gives with that. Just had a thought would some security updates for windows be the reason this is happening? View this thread

My computer is about a year and a half old, it's an HP laptop, and for the past couple weeks, it tells me I need to install updates constantly. Sometimes, even after I have JUST finished one. If I don't do it, my computer moves at a snail's pace, but it's getting so that I can barely use my laptop without having to do updates about three times an hour. HELP! View this thread

I can not burn a CD with Media player 11. I can drag the songs in the play list but at the top where media player used to tell me how much space I had left on the blank CD it says &quotconnect a burner and restart the player&quot. The burner works because I can burn a CD with other software, but I like media player much better. I even bought a new external burner and it can't see that one either. View this thread
