Absolutely.

That one made always made me laugh. "to STOP, click START" genius...

I find Ubuntu's user and super-user system MUCH simpler, clearer, and
more sensible than Microsoft's stupid and messy implementation.

This highlights a major difference between open source and closed
source. Because you cannot look at the closed source of the Microsoft
system you cannot know what malicious developers might be doing.

If one started with a clean drive, installed an oem edition of vista
home premium, is the user/oem, there is no previous owner, and the files
in question exist right after the installation, one could reasonably
assert that the files in question were included in the vista installation.

You're the one who said that folder isn't included with the Vista Virus,
not me, which, of course, and as usual, makes you the LIAR.

Um, I have Vista Ultimate. I used the DVD today to fix a borked Vista
installation. Oops. The client was so disgusted with Vista, he's coming
back tomorrow to have me set up a dual boot with Gutsy.

Linux loving? Most of the time. I must admit that I occasionally swear
like a bastard at certain things in Ubuntu, but nowhere near as much as
I swear at Microsoft and the shitty way they treat their customers.

Troll? Nope. I genuinely want to know how to delete these unnecessary
files but so far no one has given me a usable answer.

Two ways:
1) take ownership of the file

or

turn off UAC.
