Thanks to the marketing acumen of Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, the
world runs on an inexpensive, easy to use, operating system.
Get use to it loser.

Re: Now you can safely buy Linux Stock

"If Linux doubles every year"
That is your idea, not his that it would double every year.
One year does not set any type of expectation that the current % of
increase can or will continue each year.
And as you suggest, it can't.
I did not see anything in his post to say it was expected to double
every year.
Why do you assume he did?

In theory your logic will work, but you are talking LINUX and UBUNTU. It
will NOT double every year for seven years. Linux has been around for 20+
years and the market only has 0.6%. Again, you are trying to cram Ubuntu
down the vista users throats. Won't work. Why not go volunteer at a
homless shelter and help the folks over there? You would do more good
helping people rather than ANNOYING people here.

Oh yea, must I remind you that Linux and Ubuntu are FREE? Over the last
couple of years, the people don't flock to a FREE Product means that it
really sucks! You just can't get that fact through your head. You keep
insisting on ramming Ubuntu down our throats.

You are the Lin-tard. Linux WILL NOT double every year for seven years.
Linux will NEVER in our lifetimes have 100% of the market. Just FYI. You
are pig headed and love to annoy everyone here.

Take a look at all the questions in the Linux/Ubuntu group. They have an
incredible amount of posts for only 0.6% of the market! Go figure.

Look at all the posts with no replies. Lots and Lots of them. Your logic
is incredibly flawed. Oops.

I'm assuming that. Vista came out and, all of a sudden, Linux usage
doubles. It doesn't take an oracle to figure that one out.

Not hardly. Nice try but no cigar.

Alias

Consumers have a choice.
However it suits your anti Microsoft agenda to spread FUD in a vain
attempt to push your pet Linux.
As even you have pointed, Dell offers the choice of Linux.
Local shops also offer a choice of operating systems including Linux.
FACTS you know but choose to ignore when it goes against your agenda.

You should try facts for a change.
You should also try to leave off your bias and personal attacks.
Do that and more people would listen to your evangelizing of Linux.
However in the past you have demonstrated you are incapable of
sticking with facts and leaving out the attacks.

Consumers have a choice and are not force fed, a FACT you are aware
but CHOOSE to ignore.

Yes, Alias, you have no self control. People keep telling you to stop with
the Linux crap. The forum is for vista issues. You keep trying to cram
Ubuntu down our collective throats. The people here DO NOT WANT Ubuntu.
They keep telling you that. You keep up your idiotic postings. You have no
self control.

I guess you don't understand that. People tell you day after day to stop
the annyoing posts. I think you are probably a SHUT-IN who can't get out,
or a loner, whose wife or boyfriend left you and you have nothing else to do
but troll here in vista land, or maybe you have some other social issue.

Go volunteer at a homeless shelter or offer your Ubuntu skills to others in
the Ubuntu group.

I have an idea, go to the Ubuntu forum and tell everyone to ditch Ubuntu and
go to Vista. How about that?

You can assume whatever you want. It isn't all of a sudden that Linux usage
doubles. When you have 30 people using Linux and 30 more people get it,
then the number doubles. You wouldn't even know what to do with Oracle if
it bit you on the ASS.

"assuming"
As you so often do.
You also get all the pitfalls that so often come with assuming.
When you cease assuming and instead look at the facts, you may start
