Yes, of course there is and it's been explained many times. Please try
to keep abreast of what's happening, Carey.

"With the new Ubuntu and Open
Office, you can and no downloads or updates required." - from Alias' OP

So the "new" versions of Ubuntu is 8.04 and the OO that is installed by
default is the latest version, OO 2.4.

It wasn't that difficult to figure out what Alias meant, Lamegirl.

Hate to prove you wrong, Lamegirl [yeah, right!] but I just booted into
Vista, created & saved a .docx file in MSO07, then booted into the LiveCD
version of Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 and opened up that .docx file by double
clicking on it.

And guess what happened, Lamegirl?

OO 2.4 opened up and displayed the file as I saved it in MSO07, with the
LiveCD with no updates at all!

So blow that out of your vag, Lamegirl! :-p

Previous version of Ubuntu with Open Office could not open the new
idiotic MS Office files. Since I installed 8.04, not one single update
so far and, out of the box, Open Office opens .docx files.

Do you forget where you put your house keys too? Walk out to get the
paper with only an open robe on? Pick up the remote when the phone
rings? MS Office vs Open Source Office programs, remember? Losing it,
Frank? Am I too much for your little mind?

I'm certainly not dumb enough to send an existing clients document to an
as*hole idiot POS loser like you and violate our clients trust and the
NDA we have with them.
So just give me your real name and real email address (not that gmail

So, you are saying you're incapable of creating a document yourself?

What's wrong sheep-fukker, now you can't even pay attention? Hell, we
all know that you're one broke little POS of a man (maybe a man, but
more like a balless loser) but hey...paying attention cost nothing!

Assuming you mean Office 2007, that's not such a bad thing. Frankly if
I could go back to Office 2003 I absolutely would. And Office 97 Pro
was better than 2007 in virtually every way that is important to the
end-user.

Giggle. Chalk up one more for Alias and another loss for the man
obsessed with sheep, Frank the Wank. You stated that there are MS Office
docs that a program running on Ubuntu cannot open. I called you on it

Oh, so now you can rad huh? I've already proved my point sheep-fukker.
It's you who can't prove your point...if you actually had one.

The fact that oo can't properly open our test mule doc? Hey bozo, still

What's wrong sheep-fukker, can't deal with the truth. Let's all look
surprised!

You stated that there are MS Office
> docs that a program running on Ubuntu cannot open.

That is a fact jack...something you can't deal with.

I called you on it...

You tried lying about it...liar...as usual.

> and you start back pedaling and dancing around it like a break dancer.

I've never come across anyone like you who can't deal with simple
truths. oo can't properly open out test doc. I will not send that
clients doc to you, nor will I fashion any doc for you. Try google,
you'll find thousand of examples of docs that oo will not properly open.
Have fun sh*thead...LOL!
