  1. Hi Dougie! My mouse is Logitech. I uninstalled and rebooted. I have decided I don't need that program. I uninstalled it. My KB and mouse are working just fine. The Hell with it. I don't even know what it does. All my devices are working and there are no yellow marks in devise manager! The only thing I have done was uninstall REVO and Install Wise Uninstaller. I don't think I need the damn software. I can't even Google and find out what it does??? Thanks for your help Mate!! PS I don't have a Microsoft Mouse or a Microsoft Keyboard!!
  2. Hi Dougie! There are a lot of errors in the event viewer. I've working on this problem all day. The event viewer shows the same thing in my attachment above! I don't have a clue! I have never heard of this program. It shows up in Add and remove. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Didn't help!!
  3. Up date! I just checked Windows up dates and the only up dates is definitions for MSE. Where dis this gremlin come from???
  4. Hi This started on 2/22/2015. When I restart my PC, I got a pop up saying ! Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center Stopped Working. Also shows in my Reliability Monitor. I have uninstalled version 2.2.173.0 and reinstalled it on W7 as was suggested. I still get the pop up after restarting. Mouse and Keyboard are both working. I have a Toshiba lap top. My mouse is a Logitech wireless mouse. I have changed USB ports. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I still get the pop up. I don't want to restore to a earlier time, unless I have to. Could this be a windows up date problem? Thank you!! All suggestions are appreciated. I don't have a clue what to do!! The only thing I see before this problem started is a driver was installed on a USB Mass Storage Device. I did not install that driver.
  5. Your daughter is very smart. I have a whistle in my desk drawer. I blow it as hard as I can. I have received a answer "Are you crazy?" I say yes I'm crazy and if you call again I will report you! I tried to report one and it doesn't do any good, even if you have the phone number. They wanted to send someone to my house and take a report. Hell I gave them the phone number. What's to report. :rotf:
  6. Thanks Cindy. I thought about using the authors site, but you have to scroll down to find Who Crashed in your link. Resplendence makes some more good software in the link you provided. It's always better to use the authors website when you can find it! Thanks Cindy!!
  7. Hi! Sense no one is replying, I'll add more of my thoughts. Blue Screens can be caused by software or hardware. Here's some things you can do to test your hardware. You can do a chkdsk. You can also do a Memory diagnostic test. You can run Hot CPU tester. You can run Driver verification if you can't identify the driver which will help Who Crashed identify the driver for you. I will think some more about this and add later!;);) http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed_verifier I like to up date the graphics driver if your having BSOD. Here's a great link for that! http://www.howtogeek.com/135976/how-to-update-your-graphics-drivers-for-maximum-gaming-performance/
  8. Here's my 2 cents @lurkingatu2 Users should create their own restore media, but some users just put these things off, or they just don't understand. I have the 5 DVD's and a Flash drive with back to factory. I also created the system repair CD. Some users think they can always use the hidden partition to restore back to factory. That can get corrupted or your HD dies and then you're up the creek without a paddle. I thinks it's pretty sad when a company tries to save a few bucks by not supplying the OME with their product. It's a shame that Companies have gone to this. I guess that's what this old world has come two. My word is GREED!Shame on you Microsoft for removing the DR down loads. !! Your heart was in the right place James and no one is blaming you here at Free PC Help Forum for your thread. Don't let some thing like this keep you from posting on Free PC Help Forum. Microsoft is greedy just like the rest of them.. 2% of the population have all the $$ and it doesn't look like that will change any time soon!! PS Keep posting @lurkingatu2 We need members like you here on Free PC Help Forum http://www.taxjustice.net/2015/01/19/report-will-top-1-wealth-99-2-years/
  9. Hi Once again, I'm not sure where this thread belongs. Please move or delete if a thread like this is all ready posted on the forum or is not appropriate !! This is the way I approach Blue Screens. BSOD can be very hard to solve as they can be caused by hardware or software issues. Hi Here's a shot in the dark. Go into your Reliability Monitor and see if it will give you a clue. Also might want to see if Who Crashed can help! http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed Down load Who Crashed from Major Geeks! http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/whocrashed_free_home_edition.html Here's how to use the Reliability Monitor in W7 http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/windows-7-reliability-monitor/ I hope some thing in my reply helps with your issue. The first thing I probably would do is up date your graphics driver. This link should work for that if you have AMD. I'm not a big fan of up dating drivers if it ain't broke, however the graphics driver is a different story http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool Hi There are many reasons why your PC Blue Screens. It's trying to protect its self. You might give your PC a good cleaning for dust build up.;) Here's some more reasons for BSOD! Heat and drivers are a major cause for Blue Screens. Please add your thoughts or ideas to this thread!! Once you determine whether it's software or hardware, it gets easier to solve the problem! http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed_troubleshooting PS I'm always ready to learn new things, so please add you thoughts or suggestions to this thread and make it a team effort!;)
  10. That is a ton of stuff. Me be careful???:rotf: I always have my Macrium Reflect to get me out of any trouble I get into. That is a awesome tip my friend! I have already double clicked some of them.
  11. WOW:wow: That's amazing. That will keep me busy for awhile!:omg: Thanks Cindy!! How did you get so smart.:clap:And your a girl:patriot:
  12. Hi Cindy! Could you explain in detail how to add the Google filter?? I'm getting those ads with both IE and Firefox!! Also could you attach the down load link your using for Ad Muncher. I might try a new install!! Thank you!
  13. IMHO you should remove your down load link in reply #28 as it could cause a problem for anyone using it and it leads to CNET, as I have stated in my reply #29
  14. Windows 7 does a real good job of maintaining it's self and yes it does have some great built in tools. Windows catches a lot of Hell; but when your the number one OS, you can expect to catch Hell!! I'm only trying to alert people to these tools. The Reliability Monitor is improving. I have seen some improvements lately I always send a report to Microsoft to help them make this feature better! Thanks for your reply!
  15. Hi @Rich-M I also work on all different makes and models of computers and printers here in my village. I have been doing that for 3 years. I have learned a lot in that time. I never charge and the seniors here tell me I'm worth my weight in gold. I do get lots of hugs, cobblers and cookies. I also got a 12 pack of Budweiser a week ago. PS Would you believe I have even fixed several by shutting down, discharging the caps and restarting! I even fixed one that had a giant sea turtle that she couldn't X off. I changed her desk top to a scene with a water fall. That got a big hug. This is not my first rodeo. I have been around the block a couple of times. I quite often use the Reliability Monitor to see the history and the performance of their computers. No silver bullet, but has helped me at times! It's very easy to read and to me is much better than the event viewer! I'm off my preaching stump now. Thanks for your reply on my thread!
  16. I'm removing my link as it could cause a member or guest a problem! CNET is bad news!!
  17. The link you attached is full of PUP's!! This is where that link takes you!! Edited to remove posible link to a PUP down load! Heres a clue to a down load that may have Pup's! This is where your link goes to CNET!
  18. I was only pointing out what Dougie and others had replied.
  19. I guess I'll have to agree with everyone. As Dougie said "I'm out numbered" :boohoo:
  20. @Rich-M No I'm not a Secunia user. I stopped using Secunia when I started using W7.The Reliability Monitor is a glorified event viewer, but much easier to use. It can't help you if you have a negative attitude. Is it a silver bullet? No it just helps with issues and brings them to your attention and often to a solution! I remember you saying that you weren't even aware of the feature. I believe that was reply #2. You became a expert pretty fast. https://www.winhelp.us/reliability-monitor-in-windows.html
  21. Hi @Rich-M You can pretty much trust Major Geeks to down software. http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/wise_program_uninstaller.html
  22. Hi! Dougie! Wise Uninstaller didn't find any PUP's on my PC, but that's good to know and I'll be watching for them. Thanks for leading me to this program Dougie!
  23. Hi! I'm having a ball with Wise uninstaller. I just thought I had all the crap deleted on my PC. I love this software! Thanks everyone. REVO is gone and Wise Uninstaller is the King. I love Free PC Help Forum
  24. Hi Sports Fans! Had a little problem with my HP printer. Knocked down my 10 rating in Reliability Monitor, but Got the problem fixed and will be be getting my 10 back soon!;):(
