As previously noted in another thread the move to the domain http://freepchelp.forum is complete. All previous links should re-direct properly. If you notice any broken links let me know so I can fix them.
Also the new default style is turned on. The old styles will remain for a short time. The style change goes hand in hand along with re-branding the site.
You may be logged out when you first visit on the new domain.
I haven't used the new Spartan browser that much while running Windows 10 on my laptop. Last night I did the upgrade to my main box which ran Windows 8.1. I opened up Spartan and started to browse to a few sites. I then wanted to go the my home page. I looked everywhere and didn't see a home button and no setting to switch it on.
How can Microsoft forget to add a basic feature of any browser?
Is this another one of those stupid Microsoft feelings on features that they think users don't want or need so they remove them? Sort of like what they did when they removed the start menu.
While I like Spartan I will not use it without the home button. I use the home button a lot and as my quick Google search on the missing button turned up I am not alone in this.
I did the upgrade on my main box last night. It sure look pretty spread across my monitors. The laptop I've been running it on for while definitely didn't do it justice.
I have my laptop tied to my Microsoft Developers account. I use a regular Windows users on my desktop. I got notification on both about the update the laptop is already running Windows 10. I have 8.1 on my desktop.
I wonder how they will treat my desktop when it comes time to activate.
Seems to be a corrupt user profile I found this on the Dell site and it seems to have worked for a few people.

I have had that happen to me. In my case the problem was with the cord. A reboot always brought it back so I never looked at the cord as being the problem. One day it stopped working altogether and since my inquiring mind wanted to know after surgery on it I found a short in the cord.
