Brothers printer MFC-J430W was working for the last few months however now will not respond to win 7 request. Troubleshooting says the problem is a printer drive Lexmark X422. System is unable to find Lexmark X422. Can anybody help? with experience or something to try? View the thread

Hi, Today (4/12) in my update history I saw that an update (Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.147.1685.0) had been installed successfully. However in the main Windows Update window, it says that updates were last installed two days ago (4/10). Should I worry about this, or is everything okay as long as it was a successful update?Thanks. Also, I noticed MSN's homepage says that there were 9 updates released on the 9th...it looks like I only received 7. I just re-ran an update check, and it said there are no updates available. Windows automatic updates shows Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB970895) ready to install. I used Express Install to install the update, which appeared to be successful. Shortly thereafter, the update icon reappeared in my tray. When I opened it, it again installed the Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB970895). This cycle keeps repeating. I cannot update any of the Microsoft Adapters or WAN Miniports. Almost a year ago my internet connection didn't work properly and somebody fixed the problem by making some changes in the ''Device Manager'' window in my PC. I click to install it and it tells me that it was successful yet 5 min. later it is back on the Windows Update telling me to install it. Hi:Dell 19 inches Monitor come with the Dell Mini-tower/XP: The screen does not appear due to 'power saving' upon pushing 'power' button at the right corner bottom, although the PC running fine. When I used the other monitors, hp and Acer with the same Dell PC, the screen comes right away. Only DELL Monitor does not show the screen due to Power Saving. How to 'unstuck' power saving in order to get the screen? Thanks for your help in advance View this thread

Performed a advance boot , regrettably i'm stuck either in a black screen or somewhere I should'nt be in safe mode, with no internet because of safe mode restart after restart can't get it back , most programs not running,need internet to enable them !
