    That's the point. With NSLOOKUP you can understand HOW one name is resolved into IP. Do the steps above and check that each name is resolved correctly.

    Pratically not, but contact Microsoft License Support and explain what happened. They will ask you for both keys and finally they should give you another key.

    Migrating from 2k8 to 2k8 R2 is not so hard. The best thing to do is to install a temporary server (virtual), pass all the roles to this server, install the new server on the old one and finally migrate the roles. This is the safest way for me. It takes a bit more time but it's secure and you don't loose too much productivity time.

    Office pc: AMD X3, 4 gb ram, integrated VGA, 320 HD. Server: depdending on your needs but a "normal" xenon 4 cores should be fine with 12 gb ram.

    As said you need an MSI package... the problem is that you don't have the msi package for each program... that means you must create it yourself... but trust me, if you create an MSI package for each program... you will not gain time, that's sure.     No, because everything is managed by many files which interrogate SIDs and put them in DACL and SACL, so that's can be made only from the OS itself. You can only take the ownership from another computer but only if the HD is not encrypted. Next time... backup, registry export and restore point... the last 2 items require 5 minutes )

    Yes, you can. You just need a DNS but of course you have it. Are you talking about an INTERNAL connection? If so, set up your DNS internally, otherwise you need to change something on your EXTERNAL dns.

    Hi, Assuming your are talking about Microsoft Exchange Server, the answer is YES, er... partially yes. You must install exchange on 2 servers, same installation. In the first server you simple disable the service IMAP or POP (depending on what you want), and on the other you disable SMTP. So one server recive and the other send. Of course you must configure your clients in order to send / receive from / to the right server. Regarding the email copy, I think is not possible, you could write a new rule for each mail sent... but I think you can only forward to a mailbox...

    Hi, It's really really easy. Go to your domain controller and open GROUP POLICY MANAGEMENT. Once opened, there are 2 mains categories: USER and COMPUTER. From there navigate and look for the policy you want. If you don't want to look for each policy you need, google it and you will easily find the location of needed policy :) Example: Google > domain policy disable shutdown > second link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc940398.aspx Found :)
