That likely isn't a problem with Evolution, but a problem with the fact
that Windows and Linux don't share all (if any) of the same fonts. Did
you make sure that whatever font you selected under Evolution was in fact
available under Windows?

Verdana. I use the same font with Outlook 03. Evolution does have a
problem with colored fonts (described above), regardless of what font
you use.

So by your logic nothing on Ubuntu or Suse or any other Linux distro counts
as none of the utilities including the shells are a part of Linux.

For those that don't know Linux is a kernel, nothing more.
The rest of the distro is open source utilities that are added to the Linux
kernel to make a distribution.

Did you fix the wireless modem you couldn't get working?
It went quiet over in ubuntu land without any real suggestions.

My use of the vernacular is nothing compared to your lying using
proper(sometimes)English.

Well I am not sure one "Has to" tinker with it but the option is
certainly there if you want it.

Apart from that you are 100% right, but I would add that if people
Dislike Windows, or grow to dislike it then it will most likely be due
to Microsoft's apparent attitude rather than the OS itself.

Dennis,

if you can't understand why I don't consider linux tools that have been
ported to windows to be a part of windows...well then, there's absolutely
no point to have this discussion.

Well if you can't understand why I consider open source tools that have been
ported to Linux and windows as being available on both then I guess there is
no point what so ever in you participating as you don't want facts to
interfere.

"available" and "part of" are two different things. I'm quite aware what
is and what is not available. However, they are not a part of windows.
Windows does not ship with them. Microsoft does not include them with
windows.
