As there is virtually no difference in surfing, email and spreadsheets on
linux, xp and vista I conclude that its *user* problems if you can't get one
of them to work. Stop blaming the tools and learn how to use them.

As a failed vista user you are telling us that you can't be bothered to do
it right and will blame vista for your own short comings.

You'd be wrong, of course.

The updates have nothing to do with viruses or malware. Can either of
you name ONE virus that is in the wild, attacking Ubuntu? I didn't think
so and until you do, STFU.

Actually Photoshop (and the whole Adobe CS suite) and MS Office 2008
run just fine on my Mac. So do lots of other mainstream software
packages.

Well duh! It's called capitalism!
Of course a lying linux troll, spammer and bigoted atheist like you
hates to pay for the something some else is willing to sell at a fair
market price.
Loser!

You made the statement:
"You mean the software like PhotoShop, AutoCad and MS Office that are
only made for Windows? "

That is what I was replying to because you were wrong.

BTW, "comparable" programs don't cut it. In order to exchange
documents with others the application has to be 100% compliant.
