Some included in ubuntu but no windows ones like the BBC ones for instance,
so many more available for windows including the ones for ubuntu and the
ones people *want* to use.

Why dual boot when windows can do it all?

I told you to get off the floor many a times, because what your demented
humor depicted and you laughing at it for you to be on the floor wasn't
even funny. It was a sad display.

You are total useless and worthless human being that needs professional
help, as shown by that Frank slobbering stupid post you made you silly

Most people don't need XP or Vista and can use Ubuntu. You say Windows
can do everything Ubuntu can but you're wrong. Ubuntu is bullet proof
compared to Windows of any flavor in regards to viruses and malware. Not
only that, Ubuntu doesn't have WPA, WGA and DRM which many people object
to and others like you and Frank bend over as far as you can when MS
tells you to do so.

Of course I posted these fact (above) but you, like a true MS fanboy,
ignored it and hoped no one would notice.

I am an average home user and perform simple tasks such as
surfing,e-mail,word and spreadsheet. But Vista fails to do simple basic
functions such as surfing and annoys me a lot while Ubuntu keeps me happy and
function as I want it to be.
I am not interested whether 1 person uses Ubuntu or 1000 people use Ubunu
and I am not requesting anyone to switch to any OS.
As a Vista user I am posting my displeasure in these NGs for which I am
entitled and if any of you Vista fanclub members don't like it,tough luck.
Only feature I like most in vista is System Restore and I use it very often.

It replaces windows for me too. And my "needs" are much more advanced
than RonB. My point should be obvious to anyone. Our "needs" are not
necessarily other peoples. As the lists of issues in the help forums
reveal.

Until Wine works properly (its still beta) then there is little hope of
Linux meeting most needs.

Go on then name something Ubuntu can do that windows can't.
This will be fun, I have had this before with die hard Ubuntu users trying
to find something that windows can't do and ubuntu can.
You just prove how ignorant you are by posting such cr@p claims.

> Ubuntu is bullet proof compared to Windows of any flavor in regards to

So you eronously keep saying, However a quick look at the list of known
security holes in Ubuntu will show that what you say is bull, not only bull
but as it has been pointed out to you in the past lies that you continue to
use.

WGA, WPA are not a problem for most users.
DRM is a problem for you, tried using the hish definition downloads from the
BBC iPlayer on your Ubuntu yet?
Hint, it doesn't work because Ubuntu doesn't support DRM, but you already
knew this as you have been told in the past.

You posted the truth like I did, I think not.

The facts are, nobody needs ubuntu.
Some people need windows.
Most people want windows.
You are just a troll who makes things up as you go.

Most people don't need a computer so I guess you got that one correct.
You had to get something correct eventually.

But you do need DRM, by your own admittance you use XP to run games.
So now you have blown your own lies maybe you will sod off.
I doubt it though as you really are dense, you can't even hold an argument
without shooting yourself down.

Who really cares, its the needs of the individual user that matter. What you
or Frank or alias need/use is irrelevant to anyone else.

In theory, yes, in practice, no. Name ONE virus or root kit in the wild
that's attacking Ubuntu. Just one. You can't do it. The ONLY way my
computer can get hacked is if the hacker is sitting in front of my
computer. Live with it and be a good little boy and go update your AV
and anti malware apps. I have no need to do that.
