Jim,

What's the problem with the reply given by Mr. Frisch? He only told the
truth, and this truth is supported by the inconsequential market share of
Linux based desktop operating systems. His right to post a comment is no
less than yours.
In any event, you are welcome to reply to my post, although I won't see
the reply.

Also alias isn't quite telling the truth.. you can't buy a linux pc in the
major retailers in the UK for instance.
You can get them in the small one man builders but they aren't flying out
the doors.

I meant Europe, not some Island off the coast that thinks themselves
superior to the "Continent". Blair was Bush's lap dog and when he left
you voted in another Bush lap dog. We kicked Aznar out and elected a
Prime Minister that brought the boys home and told Bush to go fuçk
himself and the illegal Iraqi war. Who has the smarter voters? The UK
boys who still use Windows or the Spanish who are switching to Linux?
One computer chain with hundreds of stores all over Spain has been
selling Linux boxes for years.

Gordon Brown was never elected. Nobody voted for him. He took over from
Blair. You have not been paying attention.

OK, point taken, you voted him in by having voted in the person who
appointed him. You're right, though, I don't pay much attention to the UK.

No, there aren't, thank goodness. Of course, I never said there were but
that won't stop Lang from putting his feet in his mouth.

I wasn't referring to the subject, obviously, but the retail market.
Please try and keep up. One of the largest computer RETAIL stores here
has been selling computers loaded with Linux for years.

I guess that the issues get clouded since this is a Vista discussion
group and there are those that think that this is a Linux promotional group.

Promoting Ubuntu to frustrated Vista users who can't -- due to no XP
drivers for their hardware -- go back to XP is a noble cause, one I plan
to continue and feel that it fits quite nicely under vista.GENERAL.

What's happening in the US and what's happening in Spain are two
different things.

Are you this dense? They do a little bombing in that chicken-shit
country, and you run with your tails between you knees.

Bullcrap, no one cares what you think. You're just an unnecessary nuisance.

That's for sure.

If you're referring to Spain withdrawing its troops from the illegal
Iraqi war that was justified with LIES, that was the government replying
to the will of the Spanish people, something the idiot in the White
House NEVER does. The next time you pay almost $4 for gasoline, thank
Bush for the war. The next time you try to take a vacation in Europe and
find your wimpy dollars won't buy you the time of day, thank Bush for
the war. If you're happy about the new found influence from Venezuela,
Russia and Iran, thank Bush for the Iraqi war. I know Osama Bin Laden is
very grateful for the war as it has made his recruitment efforts so much
easier. Exxon, Haliburton and the boys are also grateful for all the
money they've made.
