What happened when the files became inaccessible? When you recoveed the files it is possible the databse became fragmented. If this is the case chancesd are it is corrupt beyond compare.

You'll need to know the Hyper V environment to be certified. General knowledge is all you'll really need and yes it is required.

You need to open ports in your router to allow you to connect from outside your home network. You can use the security configuration wizard to set ip based rules so only you can access from remote locations.

You definitely have a problem with reboot times that long. It could be a driver issue, network configuration issue or any number of other problems. Can you post your server specs?

Check to make sure there is anetwork card properly installed and if there is that the cable used to connect to the router is in working order.

Have you tried updating the video driver? It sounds like you are using an older version of the driver which is causing the resolution to revert back to the default settings.

I have been busy working on a couple new sites and haven't spent as much time here as I like. I did make time to upgrade the forum software as well as the design of the site. We now have only 2 styles to choose from. One with a sidebar on the index page and one without. There are other changes and modifications to the backend to make the site run more efficient. I do apologize for my absence and will try to catch up on some of the topics. One final note. I will be looking for staff to help out with the site. I will be looking for moderators and advisers. This update addresses three privately reported vulnerabilities which could allow remote code execution. The security update addresses the vulnerability by modifying the way Internet Explorer handles objects in memory and table operations. In addition, the update includes two defense-in-depth protections against known techniques that are able to bypass ActiveX Security Policy when ActiveX controls have been created using certain Active Template Library (ATL) methods in specific configurations.

I use it all the time. It is one of the best features of Windows 7.

And the beta testers don't get the bits early. In every OS beta I've been part of including server os we got the RTM build. We had to buy a license after 60 days, but, at least we had it. Not so this time.

Sounds like the installation is failing because of a bad burn of the iso. Have you tried burning the iso at a the slowest burn speed you burner allows?

Google has had a long standing relationship with Firefox. They as do many sites show a Firefox ad when viewing with IE.

I've got that same card in one of my servers and I didn't have to install any drivers. I let windows update install the drivers for me. I get all screen resolutions that my monitor supports.

It won't resolve if you pause a domain. I pause a zone when I want to make changes to it. These changes only take a few minutes so rather than stopping the server I pause the zone.
