FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 16, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 16, 2013 Security update for windows, KB2686509Size: 488 KBA security issue has been identified that could allow an authenticated local attacker to compromise your system and gain control over it. You can help protect your system by installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this update, you may have to restart your system.More information for this update can be found at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=244692I tried applying it from the web-site, from the local update client and even download it and applied it manually (which is a solution I've found works more often than not, FYI) which is what generated the log file below but nothing works. It still fails and wants to try again. It says there are prerequisites but I can't find out what they are and/or why WINUP doesn't apply them itself. Can you give me a hand.
