To spoof you, the person would have to be using dial-up with the following
company:

OrgName: Level 3 Communications, Inc.

To spoof me, they'd have to be using one of the following DSL servers:

AT&T Internet Services SBCIS-SIS80 (NET-69-104-0-0-1)
69.104.0.0 - 69.111.255.255
PPPoX Pool Rback2.chic01.pbi.net SBC069104052000031201 (NET-69-104-52-0-1)
69.104.52.0 - 69.104.53.255

Yes, there are occasional changes in the NNTP HOST line in my posts, but not
often. And in my case, since I use DSL and seldom change IP address or host
server, you seldom see *any* change in that line in my headers.

In short, if I were to suspect that you aren't the Lil' Dave that usually
uses that handle, all I have to do is to read all headers from Lil' Dave
however far back in time I feel is necessary, and get at least a fairly good
idea. Of course, you might occasionally post from Google Groups or even
Microsoft Communities or one of the other web interfaces, or even from
someone else's computer, but only the scoundrels tend to show much change in
that particular line of their headers.

Somone@somplace.com is a coward who almost certainly DOES post to this
newsgroup and/or others I frequent, just under a different name or names and
who perhaps always uses aioe.org to post but might have only done so for
this instance. Such a person's headers are easily spoofed.

A person who seems to know me well enough to provide a long analysis, yet
that same person hasn't posted at all in the last thirty days in any of the
groups I post to. In fact, according to Google Groups, this alias has never
been used. So we are obviously dealing with a person whom I have either
blocked and changed name just to harrass me, or is otherwise someone I'm
familiar with who doesn't want me to know their normal identity.

Whatever, the person is a COWARD!
