Irrational response.
If he needs Intuit he can not run Linux as a solution.
He is stuck even if he doesn't want to be.

The reality is that Linux has its uses.. running windows applications isn't
one of them.
It cannot replace windows for a large number of users.

The reverse of course is typically not true as most open source applications
also run on windows.
So essentially anyone suggesting Linux as a solution here is probably wrong
and is suggesting the poster throws away the ability to run some
applications.
One of the homebrew groups would be a better place to advocate linux.
Doing it here just reminds people that if you join linux its full of very
unfriendly posters that will jump down your throats if you even accidently
hint that there is something wrong with linux.. like asking a simple
question using windows to post.

I wasn't the one complaining about what cannot be done. I only offered
links to possible solutions that are available in each cited complaint
(other than the intuit issue, which is not the fault of linux). Please
do not inject your "irrational response" bull into the situation. There
is nothing irrational about the response. I did not recommend linux as a
solution to anything, nor am I advocating for it. I commented in good
faith.

I only commented on the error in good faith.
I am quite happy to advocate Linux or windows or anything else if it does
what the user needs.
People that aren't prepared to recommend other products aren't helpful they
are salesmen.
