Another common but typically dumb comment. Most people don't buy Vista
outright. It comes preinstalled on the computer they buy.

I see you felt your comment was so witty that is deserved to be cross
posted to several newsgroups. Wow, I'm impressed. Not!

Great !! That mean Dallas, Houston, Amarillo and Albuquerque comprise all
of the world's Unbuntoo loosers.... er... users. Sorry, Not impressive. My
requested "comment" still stands.

No more than there is any accurate way to know how many users are
actually happy with Vista.

Here's a radical thought, if somebody is happy with Ubuntu, great. If
somebody else is happy with Vista that's great too.

The purpose of this newsgroup is to help people having issues with
Vista. The fanboy gang doesn't even like it mentioned that Vista could
possibly have issues. They just want everybody to blindly praise
Microsoft being the brainless toads they are.

I find such stupidity entertaining in watching to what extremes these
bozos will go. They lie, they yell, they scream obscenities and in the
end it changes nothing. Like I said it does have some minimal
entertainment value to watch them go ape.

Hmmm....
All this time I thought this was an XP newsgroup. Whoda thunkit.

Um, it's spelled "losers". Now, what do Linux users lose? They lose
worrying about viruses and malware. They lose worrying about WPA, WGA
and DRM. They lose the BSOD experience. They lose having to get updates
all over the place. They also lose having to pay for an operating
system, Office, Photoshop and other programs. Yeah, Linux users are
losers, all right, but in this case losing is a very good thing.

A little English class for you:

Lose is the opposite of win.
Loose is the opposite of tight.

I have used GIMP on the Ubuntu side of my PC

to rescue photographs from an old CD that were impossible to get at on
the Microsoft side.

I have found the Ubuntu utilities more compatible with streaming audio
than the ones on the Microsoft side.

( especially Microsofts Media Player)

Ubuntu is Free. you can optimize your hard drive, download Ubuntu and
let it install itself.

http://www.ubuntu.com/

Not a problem.

When Windows finally Dumps XP for some Slow, Ponderous Bug ridden
excuse for an OS, I'm giving up on it and using Ubuntu / Open source
Software.

Correction: There is NO way to tell many Ubuntu people how.

But, of the 8 million alleged users, I have it on good authority that 4
million were African school children that were given the $100 laptop thingy.
Which they promptly ate.

"Loose" is correct.

Linux is the blow-up vinyl doll of the software industry. For some deviates,
it's adequate.

The rest of us prefer the real thing. You can train the real thing.

Ow! That hurt!

And then there are folks like you who will say this is a VISTA group
when in reality it wasn't posted to just VISTA groups.

So you'll have to add 'blind and/or comprehension impaired' to your list
of dummy attribuest last I looked, XP wasn't VISTA.

Uhh, "loosers" is a perfectly acceptable term for what the poster meant.
If you're going to rely on a dictionary, you have to eliminate BSOD,
WPA, WGP, DRM, etc. from your post. Nutjob! Go pick your nose instead
of picking here.

Just because YOU have no driver problems, may know how to do your own
builds and all the other things needed to run any flavor of Linx does
not mean anyone else specifically does. I've noticed that 99% of Linux
users lie by omission whey they want to show off about how great they
are, and usually end up looking like the idiot you are here.

Oof! That's equally as stupid, just in the other direction.
