You what??? That toolbar shows every vertical step above current directory.
That makes it MORE efficient than XP's.

What do you mean, "several operations"? It takes one click to go ANYWHERE
in the hierarchy.

No, of course not. It's just that you've spectacularly failed to make a
good case for it.

I may be too dumb to understand the new way of doing these things. When I
click up there on some folder name it's not obvious to me if I'm moving up
or back or whatever. That's why I want the up button back so that
ignorant people like me doesn't have think and learn. Come to think of it,
that's what "being intuitive" is all about :)

I am not the only one missing the up button, but I guess you are the one
who should be judging if we're making a good case for it.or not. If we're
not we should not have it, right? :)

There's always several ways of doing things. Some people like to use the
command line in Windows for file navigation, some like breadcrumbs, and
some like the visual simplicity of an "Up" burron.Take a look here:

Rest easy knowing you have a choice.

Some people are smart enough to adapt.
Since two monkeys fell from a tree, its been the way of things.
One of them found a big stick on the ground.

Grammy! LOL. If I had one it wouldn't be something I could feed. You sure
you didn't mean "Granny"? :)

Grammy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy
"The GRAMMY Awards (originally called the Gramophone Awards)—or
Grammys—are presented annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts
and Sciences of the United States for outstanding achievements in the
record industry."

Granny:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandmother
"Numerous other variants exist, such as gramp and grandpap for grandfather
and grandmom, grandmama and GRANNY for grandmother, etc."

I'm tired of this, but maybe you have learnt the difference between Grammy
and Granny now. Do I also have to explain the difference between Licrosoft
and Minux? :)

Followed the yellow brick road.
How clever.

He likes it, it should be available as an optional button if not default.
That's a 'good case'.
