Software program that will find all registry entries!

I don't consider all of the entries bloatware either.
You place a checkmark next to the programs that you want to uninstall.

It's obvious that you must have already uninstalled a lot of the programs that came with your computer.
Yuppers!! I have 92 programs on my PC. 1.8GB . I'm sure I could get rid of some of them, but for right now, I'm keeping them!!

Here's some screen shots of my registry. You can see it hasn't grown much. I keep a clean ship. I know how and I enjoy the challenge.

Hey Dougie. A little spring cleaning. 2.14GB with disk cleaner. Removed a bunch of old restore points. Removed some software that I never use.
It's some thing I like doing in the spring. I should have saved a screen shot. I just know I went from 54GB used to 44GB. So I say I have 10GB more free space. I should been more precise. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you Mate!! Will do better next time;);)

Hi mate. I wasn't trying to put you on the spot.New users may want to know in detail, that's all.:)
They are prob thinking how the hell did Donetao free up so much disc space.

I know you weren't trying to put me on the spot Mate. Some times I even amaze myself. I should have made more screen shots. All I can say, is I went from used 54GB to 44GB. That's a +10GB of free space. I have done this before and I promise I will will keep better records next time.
I'm a clean freak. What else can I say. Windows takes about 27 GB. The other 17GB is spread out between programs pictures, ect!!
:whome:
I know you Mate. Congrats on your per motion! That's the best I can explain it for now!! The forum gets dull some times and I try to keep it interesting!
I did gain 10GB of free space. I promise to keep better records next time Mate!

Like yesteryear free space is again a premium if running SSD drives. As SSD drives come down more in price then more people can afford larger SSD's.A 120GIG SSD your haven't a lot of free space to play with and surprising how quickly a 120GIG SSD fills up as you only have total space to work with of around 111Gigs out of the 120G SSD.

There is a simple solution when fighting for disc space and that is to move your pictures to another drive.
Many users have up to 10GIGS of pictures on their C:Drive and some even more.

Another problem is by having all your pictures on C:Drive is every scan you do the scanner keeps scanning your Pictures folder over and over and this bogs down your scan times.
So easy to grab a picture you want to use is select the drive your pictures are now on from the tree and Bingo, you have that image to post in seconds.

Another thing is not wait till spring, rather do your cleaning whenever your OS requires it.

Just teasing about spring clean up. I clean up my PC once a month before I create a back up image of my OS
;);)

Hi Gary. Would you mind posting a Disc Image sceen shot, please.
Very interested how you have them partitioned.:)

Only for a special mate.:big_ha:

Thanks.:)
I'm glad I was able to provide that image my friend! Some times these things go over my head. You are quite welcome Mate!
I'm afraid I have forgotten more than I remember. I have never been able to be myself on a help forum before this one, and I'm having one Hell of a good time on EXTS being who I am. I am who I am Mate! Just a old country boy passing forward things I have learned from others, and still remember some of those things. I hope to pass them forward while I still remember!
Gary!!;);)
