I find it funny that this Linux Distro and the new KDE 4.0 GUI look much
like Vista right down to the transparent windows. Is this an attempt to fool
people to think it is Windows or is the Vista GUI what the people want ?

Have you tried it? It's a Russian website, and the 'partners' in the
US/Canada don't seem to know anything about it..

Um, Ubuntu has had transparent windows long before Vista was released.
Vista is imitating Linux, not the other way round.

Excuse me? Transparent windows 3d gui, etc. have been available on Linux
for several years. It's MS playing GUI catchup - not Linux.

He seems to recommend a lot of things that he does not use himself, or has
no experience with.

ss.

the point is bozo brain, that Linux is getting better and better.
While with vista, windows just got a whole lot worse!

If it continues like this, linux's quality will surpass windows very soon.
And this was bound to happen.

On one side you have Microsoft, a huge company that is totally disorganized
and innovation and ideas and energy gets lost. Must I point to blogs of MSFT
employees that state this very clearly? And the other side you have a whole
planet of developers, their number is increasing, their knowledge is
increasing, their skills are increasing.

I would not be saying this, if vista was even "likeable" it didn't even have
to be great.
BUT ITS a POS OS! Vista was microsoft downfal, in such a competative area
you cant make mistakes like vista after 5 years of waiting for something
good.
And dont try to show me small numbers of linux use... that will all change
very soon, UNLESS a miracle happens and Billy gates really makes Windows7
the windows Vista should have been.

It's been my experience that those who don't like Vista are returning to XP,
not switching to linux.

Actually as*hole, I'm laughing at losers like you who are so fukkin
stupid that they can get one little install of Vista to run properly so
they have to blame Vista when all along it their own stupidity and
incompetence that is at fault.
And especially you capin' crunch...you epitomize the real
losers...you're the perfect example for all of them...LOL!
