Yep, there is a palpable feel that MANY of Microsoft's customers are
so by necessity, rather than by choice. Ignoring the usual fanboy crap
'nobody forces you to use Vista' the reality is many users are users
only because their employer has decided to go with it or if for
personal use because they need Windows to run application X and they
are either unwilling or unable to switch to something else for a
variety of reasons. This builds resentment especially when Microsoft
is so poor at customer relations and now acts as if your computer is
their's to control.
