Keyboard won't work

tried system restore and will not restore, ran norton-nothing, tired
kaspersky and it found backdoor.win32.small.os and packed.win32.polyCrypt.b

oh crap...
now what..

On my system (a Gigabyte motherboard), I have to enable support for a
USB keyboard in the bios (same for support for a USB mouse ).

Two options:
a) Check the Kaspersky or any of othe other major anti-virus
sites for removal instructions, or
b) Format and reload.
