Who's really lying? Frank of course. From the above site:

"Microsoft has announced plans to extend full Silverlight support to
the Linux operating system in collaboration with Novell".

Sounds like Microsoft is acknowledging Linux is important enough to
include. Frank as always just goes on lying and lying and lying like
the clueless little putz he is.

Hi Carey.

I guess you feel so incredibly threatened by some of the linux users in
this group and what they post that you need to start resorting to
off-topic posts yourself dissing linux, eh? Well you wouldn't be the
first micro-fanboi posting such garbage here.

Uhhh...hey bozo, It's the MS deal with Novel that's doing it. Remember
just how much the open sores group hate that deal? Remember how much
they're afraid of MS completely taking over linux.

And you need to re-read my post you incompetent fool...I was referring
specifically to the made up headline from alias. I guess you missed that
part, huh?
But I now you see you have joined the ranks of the known liars...and a
drunken liar at that!
Great!
Congratulations!
Frank

It's a waste of time contacting Dell for that sort of thing.

This NG seems to be turning into an Ubuntu NG, presumably because that's
what Dell is selling.

Buying Dell to escape from MS is a bit like jumping from the proverbial
frying pan into the fire.

On a more constructive note, the numerous distributions of Linux are its
strong point, and this diversity should be encouraged. With Linux you are no
longer tied to a single source. The main problem for people who just want to
use their computers is (apart from the short learning curve) getting
software ready-compiled for their particular distribution/version. This
isn't a big technical problem, but as some Linux applications have to be
paid for, we need a way of ensuring that this can be done while ensuring
copy protection. Since the open source system is built on altruism, it
should be possible to design and operate a compilation service that doesn't
penalise anyone.

Regards

Looks like the next new trend for Linux is to the desktop. Yahoo! Finally
we'll have computer boxes not hosting spambots.

Cheers.
