While I agree that Linux is stable and a decent OS, it still is limited. I
could run Linux on any one of several machines if I chose to, but I'd much
rather Vista (or XP). I guess it could be said that my expertise with
systems in general gives me an advantage and therefore overall better 'Vista
experience' than the average user, but that could be said for experienced
Linux users as well, given the greater complexity in configuration. But the
reality is that until such a day as Linux becomes mainstream, it is
inevitable that it will be deficient overall by comparison. It's small
distribution guarantees that it will not have the support and features it
needs. Of course, no empire lasts forever.

And the fact that you seem to do so reasonably (AFIAK) promotes it to a
greater degree than would those who choose vehemance and obnoxiousness.

After reading through his posts in this thread, I think there could be few
who disagree that he is an unhappy individual seeking to 'unload his angst'.
Unfortunately, D.Eth, while venting your anger may seem like a good way to
relieve it within yourself, the general result is the same as that of
'feeding the monster'. It only grows, thereby diminishing you. Anger cannot
be resolved by railing at externals, but only by examining the internal:

ex Deo, ex abundantia enim cordis os loquitur.
