No English dictionary has been able to adequately explain the difference between these two words. In a recent linguistic competition held in London and attended by, supposedly, the best in the world, Samdar Balgobin, a Guyanese man, was the clear winner with a standing ovation which lasted over 5 minutes. The final question was: How do you explain the difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED in a way that is easy to understand? Some people say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED. Here is his astute answer: When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE. When you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED and when the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!!! He won a trip around the world and a case of 25 year old Scotch!

So I take that last sentence to mean that they have resolved this issue, today being October 17.

An update: I received a message back from ESET support saying that: The following notification appears on your desktop: "Website certificate revoked" You are experiencing issues accessing sites online that you can usually access This warning is displayed as the result of signed certificates that have been revoked from many common websites. As a result, browsers no longer trust websites and refuse them. See the press release from Globalsign for more information. (Then it shows a picture of the Website certificate revoked popup) Then it adds: Disabling SSL or TLS filtering will reduce your level of protection! We do not recommend that you disable SSL/TLS filtering (or exclude your default browser from SSL scanning) unless you are an experienced user. Doing so will significantly reduce the ability of your ESET product to detect threats hidden using HTTPS. We expect to see this issue resolved the week of October 17th. If you continue to experience issues accessing sites, clear your CRL and OCSP cache.

Ok, this is super weird. I just opened Outlook again this morning (first time today) and it is fine....no blocking by ESET. I didn't change anything. Gremlins!!!

Then that is strange that it won't work for me. Must be something else then......My internet provider is telus in British Columbia. http://www.telus.com/en/bc/index.jsp I will check with them and see what they have to say about this. Thanks for checking.

This last week my ESET NOD32 AV updated itself on my main computer. Windows 10. I use IE. My email is Outlook 365 personal version. Now, my email will not send or receive. I get a popup from ESET with a Security Certificate warning that the certificate used by my server has been marked as untrustworthy and the connection is not safe. My email is through my internet provider and safe. I uninstalled ESET, restarted. My Outlook mail was once again working fine. I installed ESET, restarted. Same thing as before - blocked and popup warning. When my email program loads it now shows ESET in the header of my email (where it did not before) along with File, Home, Send/Receive, etc. I see on ESET forums that there is a problem Security Certificate warnings with the latest version of ESET (shows as version 9 on my computer). I sent an email off to them. I will need to look for a different antivirus if I can't get this fixed. I am not a techy person! Just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions. Thanks
