I have finished the upgrade and the new style is turned on as the default. If you prefer the old style just select the Windows 2008 Conventional style from the drop down on the bottom left of the page. If you come across any bugs while using the new style please post in this thread and I'll look into them and fix them. If you use Internet Explorer 9 set the browser to use IE 8 compatibility mode to refresh the js. After you do this you can switch back to IE 9 mode and everything should function as is. The only glitch with IE 9 is the header does not render as it should although it doesn't affect the functionality of the site. Post any bugs you find in this thread or just comment on the new layout and let me know what you think about it. Thanks for your patience, Bob

I’ve heard recurring rumors that Microsoft might develop its own optional “shell” for slate makers that would make Windows 7 touch-centric than touch-additive. Check for any arcade games you might have installed or any other games that allow you to connect to a server to play online. I would also do a complete scan for any malware. Although I can find nothing that indicates this is a malware problem it never hurts to check.

There is some software installed that created the device and now the software must not have been uninstalled correctly. Do you have any Cyberlink software installed? If you do uninstall it and the error and blue screens should end.

After spending some time with the Windows SBS "7" preview, I'm conflicted about Microsoft's small business strategy. This is a decent upgrade for existing SBS customers, but it doesn't do anything to help them migrate to the cloud. View the full article
