Set up a subscription for each forum. It will email you the new posts daily. You can that by using the watch forum button in each forum. You can also the Twitter account which will have all new posts listed. It updates every 15 minutes.

How To Handle Multiple Internal Servers With Single Public Ip

You can run more than one web server on the same IP. All web servers can listen on port 80 and will respond to internal requests via internal IP. For what you want to do you might want to look into mod_proxy to forward specific requests to each server. -

Yes. You can't install sql server on web edition. You'll need standard at least. -

I haven't installed in Virtual PC, I'm not even sure it can be. I use vmware and have several installs of Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 working with no problems. -
