Product Key

Hello All

 

I am looking at purchasing a server that comes with windows server 2008 foundation edition pre-installed, my question is if I downloaded the trial version iso and intalled it into a virtual machine would i be able to use the product key fromthe oroginal instalation in the VM??

More than likely the version you get will be OEM and tied to the computer you buy. You could try calling Microsoft to activate, but, I doubt it will work.
