You're saying that "sheep fukker" is part of the sign on the door?

You're the troll and a rather stupid and unimaginative one at that.

And you're not there in people's kill files no matter what name you post

under? You killed *Adam Albright* to the point that you cannot even post

under the name anymore.

As a matter of fact, my wife knows everything about me. She knows

I have a craving for personal abusive and how much I enjoy impressing

the whole world wide web with my posts. She also knows how frustrated

I am with using Linux which pretty much sums up my miserable life.

I don't think Vista is superior to Linux but Vista runs certain programs

that Linux doesn't. Don't even get started about emulation packages because

is some instances, that isn't even an option.

If you want the functionality of Vista and need to use it's programs then go

for it. If you can get by with Linux/Ubuntu and can deal with the Open

Source family of software then OK.

> The problem with people like you, Frank and others that endlessly

Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't fear Linux. Most people who come

here want to get their problems with Vista solved and don't need Ubuntu

shoved down their throats. Maybe you don't understand that. Let's say you

have a problem with your Prius. You take it to the Toyota dealer and the

sales advisor says, Adam, why not ditch the Prius and get a Chevy? You

would probably be insulted with those remarks. Wrong place. Wrong time.

Same goes for some of the Linux/Ubuntu/Open Office remarks made here.

Understand?

Sorry to burst your bubble on this one. I do have a Mac and I use it almost

every day. I use certain tools for certain tasks. For me, the Mac is a

better platform for video and digital photography. I think the tools are

superior so that is what I use.

For my development, I use a Windows solution because that is what works

best. I agree that Vista does have problems and I won't use Vista in a

development environment but only for testing. If I didn't need to have a

development environment and my software wasn't "FREE", maybe I would

consider using Linux and Open Office, but for now it just isn't an option.

Sorry again pal. You and I have an agreement not to be juvenile and sling

personal attacks and so far it seems to be working.

Maybe that will change in the future. You are still being made fun of by

quite a few people. Take a look at the last few days posts. Yes, I am in

some kill files but oh well.

The above poster is impersonating me which, of course, is typical troll

behavior. It's also desperate and very pathetic.

What about you?

I'm a software developer writing XP/Vista applications for the consumer

market. If I put a year's worth of work into an application, I have a

potential market of about 90% of desktops worldwide at best. Now, if I would

waste my time to write desktop (!) applications for LINUX, how many

potential customers worldwide, who are actually willing to pay for my work,

would I have? Exactly... -) And BTW: I've seen those hardcore LINUX fans

howling when Borland released Kylix a few years ago complaining that a

commercial product should not attempt to break into the LINUX world. Big

chance missed, folks.

So don't use Linux and keep writing for the sinking Microsoft ship. It's

your future. Saddle makers, blacksmiths, et al weren't too happy about

the advent of the car either.

That's what everyone once said about Enron. I don't hate MS. I feel

That might be true but again, I don't think an open source solution will

replace Microsoft within the next 10 years. MS is entrenched in the

business world and the business world won't be embracing Linux anytime soon.

I am sure MS will lose some home users but the majority will be entact for

quite awhile. Enron is different.
