I have two Picture folders and two Document folders. When I try to delete

files

in the duplicate folder it also removes the files in the main folder.

Question is.. how do I delete the duplicate folder without deleting what is

in my

main folder.

I have tried to just move the files over but it says that they are duplcates.

It is as though they are both parent folders. Anyone??

Hello Steve,

In Method Two of this tutorial, check to make sure that your Pictures

and Documents folders have the default location for them in the

registry. Afterwards, you should be able to delete the duplicate.

Hope this helps,

Shawn

To whom are you talking and about what? Please quote the post you are

replying to.

Please also be aware that the ms-os forum is leaching off the MS Newsgroups.

Wbhy not subscribe directly to the MS newsgroups using a newsreader instead

of going through a web forum?
