Guest Jupiter Jones [MVP] Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 About the MVP program or any MVPs. Of course we all know these are peer to peer support newsgroups. Most also know because of that, there is no requirement or expectation that anyone from Microsoft see anything posted in these newsgroups. Microsoft employees may read and post here, but they do so on their own time. The Microsoft person that may see your suggestion here may not be affiliated with the appropriate Product Group and may not even know where to forward if they are so inclined. If someone wants to be sure Microsoft gets the message, these newsgroups are not the place. For MVP issues, email the MVP Global Administrator, FAQ 13: http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/gp/mvpfaqs There is also a lot of other information about the MVP program on that and other related links. If you think an MVP is bad, hateful or just gives bad advice, that is the place to send the information. Be sure to give specific facts such as referencing specific threads and newsgroup. Simply saying they are a "fanboy", "always wrong", "inconsiderate", "hateful" or any other vague statements will probably be ignored as baseless. Also, if there is something you like about an MVP or even to suggest someone be awarded MVP, that is also the place. As before cite specific facts to give your suggestion validity. This is not to suggest criticisms should not be posted in the newsgroups, but if you want a possibility of action by Microsoft you should also contact Microsoft appropriately. Please do not make something of this post or read something into it that is not clearly written, if you do you will probably be wrong. This post is simply a suggestion pointing to the correct place for MVP issues. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org Quote
