On Windows Vista, there are two good new applications, Windows Photo

Gallery and Windows Mail (not entirely new but new). But what confuses

me is that there are "very" similar applications such as Windows

"Live" Photo Gallery and Windows "Live" Mail. They are very, very

similar but the "Live" series provides slightly more features. For

example, there is "Create photo panorama" which is the sole reason why

I installed it while I have Windows Photo Gallery. I don't understand

why Microsoft keep both of them. Wouldn't it be much simpler and clear

if Microsoft make only one version of them, then embed them on Windows

Vista and let Windows XP users download freely from Windows Live site?

For those who don't know that there is Windows Live Photo Gallery,

visit

http://get.live.com/photogallery/features

And you can find Windows Photo Gallery on your start menu by typing

photo.
