You cannot imagine how bad it comes across when these MVP's misinform or

even "leave people in the dark" about the danger vista presents.

there are 3 possibilities

a) They have been brainwashed by Microsoft and lack every bit of

imagination, so they accept what they are given without even attempting to

think for themselves.

Also in order for this to be true they must lack the expertise and

understanding that gives a certain "feeling" about what is good or not.

(this is the most likely one).

b) They know how bad vista is but they do not express the negative aspects

publicly because they are afraid Microsoft will get mad with them and they

will withdraw the MVP title.

c) They are not really MVPs at all but they are trolls here just to throw

lies and create mischief amoung people who want to say the truth.

Notice I do not include an option for an MVP to be right that vista is a

good OS.

You are using some forum that is connected to this newsgroup. Most people

here are accessing this NG through a newsreader.

Cool! That would be a good idea. -)

There are no moderators in microsoft newsgroups.

Point to a single post I've made that wasn't 100% on the money

technically.

Either put up or shut up.

Also there is nothing that says that people in here MUST say they like vista

or else they must labeled trolls.

This is vista.general

Not vista.mustbeworshiped

And that is what drives me crazy...

say something bad about vista, you are automatically a troll!

Misguide people that vista is good and blame the users saying its always

their fault or a driver or 3rd party app, but NEEEVVVVER VISTA fault then

you are not a troll!

WHAT IS THIS?????

I say that a troll is one who misleads, misinforms, distorts etc.

The point is it isn't generally, JUST the majority of MVPs that hang

out in the general group. You know why? They're too dumb to handle any

questions in more specific news groups where some ACTUAL technical

knowledge or lack of same would be more obvious, so they hang out here

mostly to pick on newbies.

Damn, the truth sets you free every time.

ROTFLMAO!

this is vista.general

not vista.isperfectandifyouinsultityouareatroll

there is nothing about this newsgroup that says that people must like vista

or else they are labled trolls.

Your ignorance is showing. One more time. This isn't a forum. There

are no moderators. It's a newsgroup. A PUBLIC newsgroup. Anyone is

free to post here. People you many not like, even idiots like Frankie

and pompous jerks like Jupiter.

Ian, you've seen how replying to Alias et al just triggers a never

ending thread of no use to anyone.

Maybe the best way to reply is to hit reply, add TROLL to the subject

and delete the content?

You don't know sh*t about color, or color space.

You know nothing.

Ok, here's the nitty-gritty. Some FACTS you should know. MVPs pass no

tests, don't in any way need to prove they know what they're talking

about. They are simply hand picked one of two ways. Either those

already in the MVP program nominate somebody new or somebody from

Microsoft picks them. Notice one thing common to all MVPs here?

Well I guess not or I wouldn't have to be writing this. There will

never, ever under any circumstances be even a little critical of

Microsoft. Why do you suppose that is? Because they're Microsoft cheer

leaders, I prefer the term apologists. You can confirm that's what

they are just reading the slop they post.

Once in awhile some MVP that actually knows something spends a little

time here. That's the exception, not the rule. Get a clue. This is the

general group. The mirror leagues for MVPs. Not even tripe A ball.

More like little league, actually more like bad news bears. Some

backwater little hell hole the smarter MVP's generally avoid like the

plague because the know the low talent big mouth gang hangs out here.

Get it now?

>

>There seems to be alot of anger toward MVPs in this forum, the likes of

>which I've never encountered before.

Because the quality of the MVP that hangs out here is sub par. Noted

there a few good guys, but they get drown out but the bad ones. Here

the rotten apple story plays out in reverse. There are one or two good

MVPs, maybe 3 or 4and all the rest are rotten apples just prima donna

types, control freaks, butt kissers.

distortions and full of misleading incorrect information.

Don't believe me...go google yourself.

Actually every NG is owned by someone. The one that initially submitted it for inclusion in the news groups. My guess would be from the name that this particular one is OWNED by Microsoft.

If you want more info, google for how to create a news group and take it from there.

"Misinform"...and all you do is call Vista "crap".

You're just about one of the most flagrant violators of what

misinforming is all about in this entire ng.

Do you ever read your own posts?

What don't you just disappear and never come back, ok?
