I'd like to speed my bootups by removing unneeded items from starting up

using MSCONFIG. One of the items is "Service Manager" (sqlmanger.exe). Some

of the Google references think it's a useful file, but I'm not aware of

using SQL in my normal applications, and I think I don't need to have it

start at bootup. Any reason NOT to disable it at startup?
