Posted July 18, 200816 yr Those who have foolishly installed the Powertoy "Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager" - as I did - soon discover that when they uninstall it, it does not uninstall fully and leaves debris all over. One of the peskiest ones to get rid of is the Taskbar toolbar which continues to show "Desktop Manager" even after that toolbar is no longer functional! Kelly (great guy) has now created a reg file to remove that toolbar. The XP Tweak is found at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm # 401 right side. Thank you Kelly! Another way to get rid of "Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager" is to Restore to before it was installed rather than try to uninstall it. That is what I did and it got rid of it for good. Jeff
