Upgrade printer server role

I have several 2003 R2 servers, I have been able to upgrade the print

server role on all but one of them. When I hit the link to upgrade

the role, windows goes through it paces and loads the components and

then I am back to the server management screen. with no change. I

have rebooted, with no change as well. I have tried to run the print

management mmc and that will not launch.

The other were successful and I was able to deploy printers fine (Yes

I have updated the schema).

Any ideas on why this one server is being stubborn?
