I'd sure like to know what kind of business (if any) you claim to

running cause statements like the above display a total absence of any

business acumen at all. Zip, nada, tepeltal,

enginting...nothing...zero...totally baseless...I find it hard that

anyone in any successful business would believe such a naive statement.

I can only conclude that you made that statement before and now you own

it and don't have the balls to ever admit you're wrong.

What loser you are.

PLEASE!!! Do me ONE big favor!!!

Do *not* call the atrocity by the name of "Visual Basic" a programming

language!!! It's a disaster at best...designed essentially for the

hobbyist "programmer" crowd. I mean Visual Basic .Net has a friggin "My"

namespace for crying out loud!!

Sorry but you may not like it but it still is a programming language.

Doesn't change the fact that it is still a very popular programming

language.

Visual Basic is widely used by many of largest "blue chip"

ie. FTSE100 companies in the UK.

You had the only one in the country? Yea, right. You went to each and

every home to ask? Don't think so. I'll bet it was probably running some

flavor of Linux or Ubuntu :-)

Get a life and a dose of reality.

Three clueless statements. VB is probably the most used language in the

world. I've used it daily for the last 12 years. Linux is still going

nowhere after 10 years, and Vista in 6 months has already sold more than

Mac OS X has sold in 6 years.

Why don't you just admit you are in over your head in this area?

Um, Ubuntu didn't exist in 84 and the Mac hadn't arrived to Venezuela

yet so there was no need to ask anyone.

Keep telling yourself that. The Ubuntu forums are full of newbies who

are ditching Vista. I have convinced many Windows users to switch and I

know for a fact that you have not convinced one single Linux user to

switch. The fact that you and others react so violently to Linux only

underscores the success it's having.

I go to various Ubuntu groups and web sites daily and I have received

expert and useful help. Most of the time I spend in those groups is

lurking and reading. That said, when I've been able to help, I have.

Your lame attempt at changing the subject by shooting the messenger is

noted. It's a common tactic on the part of Windows fanboys like you.

Thanks for proving this point:

What really gets to the Vista fanboys is they *know* they will get

_nowhere_ extolling Vista in a Linux forum and the also *know* that

Vista is irritating users BIG TIME and the time is ripe for Linux. This

explains the vile and puerile posts by those Vista Wintards that have

their buttons pushed with the mere mention of Linux. For crying out

loud, sometimes I think Frank is going to have a stroke and I worry

about him!

Mark Shuttleworth does and he's a billionaire. Michael Dell does and

he's a billionaire. Oops. And, I bet you dollars to donuts that both

Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates have at least one Ubuntu box.

Ubuntu works just fine for most solutions. Passing WGA and WPA isn't one

of them though. Only Windows can give you the Product Activation and

Genuine Advantage experience. Another Windows only experience is the BSOD.

There is nothing I can't do with Ubuntu for business that I used to do

with Windows. The only thing I can't do with Ubuntu is play video games

that were made for Windows.

To email me, remove what's invalid

Is it really different than the HP Basic I learned while using the HP2000

back in 1969? LOL

BTW: Anyone have any mylar tape so I can save my programs?

Or can I quit using line numbers and for/next arguments?

Maybe I should find my 18" compiler disk & run a few do loops on Fortran...
