Task did not execute

Yesterday I scheduled a Disk Cleanup for 3am. When I booted the notebook this

morning an error message said, " task did not execute at sheduled time ...

Task Scheduler not running."

I went to run and entered cleamgr.exe, and pressed enter. The program

executed. Then I went to Services and found that Task Scheduler had started

automatically. I wonder, why didn't Disk Cleanup run last night?

I went to the properties page for Disk Cleanup and found it was enable to

start at a specified time. The scheduled time was 3:12am daily to begin

7/23/2007 the Power Management setting was "Wake the computer to run this

task." I wonder what could be preventing Task Scheduler from working?
