Media Max from sony bmg

I just tried to load a Santana album into itunes and followed the directions

to install the copyright protection on the cd (Media Max) BIG Mistake!

My AVG flagged it as a virus. I did a little reserch and found some of the

problems I am now in for. I am very carefull about what programs I install

and stupidly trusted that a legitimate sony bmg cd would be OK.

I undestand it is a security risk and want it gone, but I have read that it

can be a real problem to try and unistall.

What now?
