USB printer is installing but not printing

Hi,

I was trying to create a usb print driver for windows xp. I created my

own inf and gpd ,the installation succeeded but the test page was not

printing.

The .SPL file was getting created with 73kb size(test page).

However the queue was showing blank in the ports section.

I was able to retreive the hardware id from the device manager.

Can anyone help me with this??
