"new program installed" - as shows on start menu....

Where is the control for setting new installations to show up when you

press the Start button? I installed a new program a little while back

- but it seems to be "stuck"! by that I mean it shows "new program

installed" - but these normally stop displaying themselves after a

while.. this one isn't ~ just a minor annoyance.. but an annoyance

never the less!!

but if this is any use to anyone else ~ it's right click start menu,

select properties, select customise, select Advanced... and there it

is on the top section! phewww solved! even before posting! :) ha~ good
