Guest Scott Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 I've given up on anyone fixing the Vista Photo Screensaver. For the record, it flashes through each picture about every 6 seconds, even at the "slow" setting. It was annoying. F.Y.I. -- XP screensavers work in Vista (Ultimate ed. for me). Copy the ssmypics.scr from an XP C:\windows\system32 folder to the same one on your Vista machine. And. Done. The "My Pictures Slideshow" is now available for a screensaver, with up to 3 minutes viewing available before the picture changes. Someone changed this program to the Vista version. It's obvious they spent more time with the different transitions and less time thinking about how well the old program worked before they change it. So I will use XP's version until they get around to fixing the Vista one. -- Thank you Quote
