Clients hang while accessing share on server

Hi all,

I have an issue on one of my servers where clients will attempt to open a

file from Word, Excel, Acrobat, or even the Run command and it will hang if a

particular share is selected from the drop down. It doesn't happen when

selecting other shares on the same server. It will eventually open if you

have 3 minutes to wait. This does not occur when opening files from Windows

Explorer either. Access to the share is quick and responsive. I also do not

have this issue from accross the WAN. I can open the same share from Word

while at our second site with no problem or lag.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated,
